Police seek witnesses after cash stolen from property in Menai Bridge

Detectives are seeking witnesses following a burglary at an address in Tyddyn To, Menai Bridge last Friday morning (April 1st).

Sometime between 8am and 10am two people, wearing dark clothing, entered a property and stole cash, before fleeing on foot through overgrown wasteland between Tyddyn To and Tyddyn Mostyn.

Detective Constable Les Ellis from Western CID said: “House to house enquiries have been carried out in the area and we are appealing to anybody who may have witnessed any suspicious circumstances to come forward.

“Anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident and saw or captured CCTV, or dash cam footage that could help with our enquiries, please get in touch by contacting us via the website or by calling 101, quoting reference number 22000223676.

“Alternatively, if you have information but don’t feel comfortable speaking to police, you can speak to the independent charity Crimestoppers.

“It is 100% anonymous, they never ask your name and they cannot trace your call or IP address. You can contact them by calling 0800 555 111.”
