Police renew appeal as woman suffers ‘life-changing injuries’ after being hit by coach in Llandudno

Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses after a woman sustained serious life-changing injuries when she was hit by a coach in Llandudno last month.

Emergency services were called at approximately 3.50pm on Saturday, July 20th to reports of a road traffic collision on Deganwy Avenue involving a coach and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 64-year-old woman, remains at hospital in Stoke being treated for her injuries.

PC Liam Gray of the Roads Crime Unit is urging anybody who may have witnessed the collision to contact officers.

He said: “We’d like to thank all those who have already contacted us, however we are particularly keen to speak with the driver of a white vehicle that was travelling along Deganwy Avenue from the direction of Gloddaeth Street heading towards Lloyd Street around the time of the collision.

“We are also asking anybody who may have dash cam or CCTV footage from the general area of the collision to contact us as soon as possible to assist with our ongoing investigation.”
