Police launch appeal after 70 tyres dumped at entrance to woodland in Conwy

An appeal has been launched after around 70 tyres were dumped at the entrance to an area of woodland in Conwy.

Police say they were left at Coed Bryndansi, near Llanelian, at some stage in the last 48 hours.

Officers are seeking help finding those responsible after describing their actions as “unacceptable”.

A member of North Wales Police’s rural crime team said: “Another selfish idiot decides to do the wrong thing.

“This time 70 tyres dumped at the entrance to Bryn Dansi woods, Llanelian, Colwyn Bay within the last 48 hours

“We really need your help as we want to catch who did this. Unacceptable on all levels Contact us via the NWP website.”
