Police have issued a warning over a “significant spike” in thefts from vehicles in Kinmel Bay and Towyn.

The offences are occurring overnight and the majority of vehicles targeted had been left insecure.

North Wales Police said: “This is a particular issue on caravan parks, where cars are being left unlocked.

“Don’t make it easy for thieves – make sure your vehicle is locked with all windows closed, and any valuables removed.”
