Police issue warning over fake £20 notes circulating in North Wales

Police have issued a warning over a batch of fake £20 notes being used in North Wales.

Officers said the counterfeit currency was being used across Gwynedd and Anglesey.

The notes are reported to have no serial numbers and are marked on the front as “not legal tender”.

North Wales Police said: “If you are offered a note like this contact us on 101 or https://www.north-wales.police.uk/contact/live-chat-support ref 20000492295.”
