Police confirm woman’s death after large emergency service presence in Bethesda

Police have confirmed that a woman has sadly died after a large emergency service presence was seen in Bethesda.

Officers were called to a house in the Gwynedd town at around 5.30pm yesterday.

The ambulance service also attended and a 38-year-old woman was pronounced dead.

The local coroner and family members have been informed.

The circumstances into the death are not currently being treated as suspicious.

Detective Inspector Andrew Gibson said: “Our thoughts and sympathies remain with the family at this sad time.

“I understand that the large police presence caused concern in the local area and I would like to reassure them that there is no reason for concern in the wider community”.
