Police confirm man’s arrest after reports of person exposing themselves in Bangor

Police have confirmed a man has been arrested after reports of a person exposing themselves in Bangor.

Officers said the incident took place in the Siliwen Road area on Tuesday at approximately 4pm, with details being widely shared on social media.

A man has now been arrested on suspicion of outranging public decency and has been bailed pending further enquiries.

North Wales Police said: “We are appealing for any witnesses to the incident yesterday or anyone that may have any dashcam footage of the general area of Siliwen Road between the hours of 3:30hrs to 5:00 pm.

“We have arrested a person in connection with the incident and the matter is currently being investigated.

Sergeant Geraint Owen said: “We want thank the members of the public that have come forward and helped us with our enquiries so far. Incidents of this nature are and will be taken very seriously.”
