Police close B4422 in Anglesey following a collision

Police have closed the B4422 between Bethel and Llangristiolus on Anglesey following a collision.

Police said the road will be closed for around four hours, reopening in the early afternoon.

A spokesperson said: “The B4422 between Bethel and Llangristiolus on Anglesey is closed following an RTC. It is likely to remain closed for the next four hours. Please use alternative routes where safe to do so.”

Latest traffic report for the area states there is a fallen tree on the road: ‘Road closed due to fallen tree on B4422 Eastbound between Capel Mawr turnoff and Cerrigcelnwen turnoff.

Diversion in operation – via local roads.

The road is looking to remain closed until mid-afternoon.”
