North Wales police have issued a missing persons appeal this afternoon after two boys have gone missing after going walking on Mynydd Mawr near Rhyd Ddu.

Mynydd Mawr is a mountain in Snowdonia, around 7 km west of Snowdon itself.

Police say, “We have concerns for two boys aged 13 and 11 who have gone walking on Mynydd Mawr near Rhyd Ddu.

“One male is wearing blue trousers, blue top and a blue jacket and the other male wearing grey trousers, grey top and black jacket.”

“If anyone has any information in regards to the two boys, please contact us online/101 quoting ref no B049836. Thank you.”
