Police are appealing for information after two businesses in Caernarfon were burgled in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Officers received a call at 4.47am to Hole in the Wall Street in the town, with the break-ins believed to have happened between 3am and 4am.

It’s understood one of those targeted was Palas Caffi, with the cafe closed yesterday due to the burglary.

The owners posted a picture showing a glass door which had been smashed at the bottom and a police forensics van.

Sergeant Arwel Hughes said: “A number of enquiries have been conducted and our focus has been on forensic examination and CCTV work.

“We are keen to hear from any person that has any information as to the identity of the person(s) responsible for these crimes. Please call quoting crime reference 21000676210.”
