Police appeal after lewd photo request and attempted assaults at Llandudno Junction Station

Police are appealing for witnesses after a public order incident at Llandudno Junction railway station.

It comes after a woman sat waiting for a train with her nine-year-old daughter spotted a stranger attempting to take a photograph of them.

She turned away and shielded her daughter before the man approached her and asked to take a photograph.

When she declined, he then asked if he could take a picture of them naked.

The man then began walking up and down the platform attempting to punch people.

Following reports from the public, the man was escorted from the station by staff.

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed what happened or reported the incident on Thursday 15 February at around 1pm to get in touch.

A 34-year-old man has been arrested and bailed.
