“No risk to public” as police close roads and air ambulances land in Rhyl

Update: More details have been released over the incident earlier today.

In a statement police said, “Emergency services have attended an incident in Rhyl after a 29 yr old man fell from a building on River St.

“Roads were closed to allow treatment of the man before transfer to hospital.

“Thanks for your patience & understanding. Call 101 or Crimestoppers with any information.”

Update: The two air ambulances have left the incident – returning to base, the second on a track to Stoke hospital

Police say they are investigating an incident on Aquarium Street in Rhyl.

The Welsh Air Ambulance and a second air ambulance helicopter have landed nearby on West Parade, along with land ambulances.

North Wales Police say, “Please avoid the area as there is some disruption on surrounding roads including West Parade and Wellington Road.”

“This is due to road closures on Aquarium Street, Palace Avenue and River Street.”

They added, “There is no risk to the public and we thank you for your patience and co-operation with this matter.”
