Motorcyclist seriously injured after crash on A470 near Glan Conwy

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured following a road traffic collision near Glan Conwy yesterday evening.

Police were called at just after 8.40pm on Monday to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the A470.

The crash happened near Nev’s Garage and involved a black and silver coloured motorcycle and a Skoda estate car.

Sergeant Jason Diamond of the roads policing unit is appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

He said: “The motorcyclist had travelled from the direction of Llanrwst along with another motorcyclist who was riding a white coloured Harley Davidson.

“I am appealing to anybody who may have been travelling the A470 prior to the collision, and who may have dash cam footage, to contact us immediately.”

Anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have information or dash cam footage is urged to contact officers at the roads policing unit quoting incident number Z132158.
