Police launch appeal after motorcyclist suffers serious arm injuries during crash in Prestatyn

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash in Prestatyn yesterday morning

The collision between a black Ford Fiesta and a motorcycle occurred at approximately 10.50am on the A548 on Victoria Road.

The man riding the motorbike was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd by ambulance to be treated for serious arm injuries, while the woman driving the Fiesta was uninjured.

PC 2601 Williams of the Roads Policing Unit is appealing for witnesses.

He said: “I am appealing to anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or the events leading up to it to contact us as soon as possible.

“I’m also keen to hear from anybody who may have been travelling in the area and who may have dash cam footage.”
