Police are appealing for information after more than 30 lambs were stolen from a farm on Anglesey.

A total of 33 half bred mule ewe lambs were taken from a field on the outskirts of Llangoed, sometime between 8pm on Sunday and 12pm on Monday.

PCSO Rhys Evans of the Rural Crime Team said: “We are appealing to anyone who saw an agricultural vehicle or trailer capable of carrying livestock in the Llangoed area between these times to get in touch with us as soon as possible.

“We are also asking members of the public to check any CCTV they have of the area, or any vehicle dash-cams for any suspicious activity within the area during these times.

“This is a unique opportunity to detect a crime that is usually committed within a large time frame.”

Anyone with information can contact police on 101 or via the live web chat, quoting reference Z121244.
