Man charged in connection with Llandudno town centre robberies

A man has been charged in connection with two robberies in Llandudno town centre earlier this week.

Matthew Ward, 25, from the Bangor area has been charged with robbery, attempted robbery and possession of a bladed article in a public place.

The first incident occurred at a premises on Augusta Street on Wednesday shortly followed by a second on Mostyn Street.

Ward has been remanded to appear in court today.
