Man arrested after suspected arson attack on vehicle in Llanrwst

A man has been arrested after a suspected arson attack on a vehicle in Llanrwst.

Officers attended an incident in the town in the early hours of Monday morning where a vehicle was set on fire, causing damage to two others.

A 35-year-old man from the Oswestry area has been arrested on suspicion of arson, and police enquiries are ongoing.

Inspector Laura Salisbury-Jones said: “We believe this to be an isolated incident, and we are not looking for anyone else in connection to this. Please be assured there is no ongoing threat to the local community.”
