Police are investigating after cash was stolen during a burglary at a house on Anglesey.

Two people entered the house, which is situated in a rural location between Brynteg, Maenaddwyn and Llannerchymedd, at around 7.30pm on Monday (October 23rd).

A sum of cash and personal belongings were taken from the address.

Detective Inspector Richard Griffith said: “Our investigations into this incident are ongoing and we urge anyone who was driving in the areas surrounding Brynteg, Benllech and Llannerchymedd yesterday evening and may have dashcam footage of suspicious vehicles to contact us immediately.

“Whilst incidents of this nature are rare, we are asking the community to remain vigilant for suspicious activity in the area and would advise residents to consider the security of their homes, including the use of outdoor lights, video doorbells, and ensuring windows and doors are locked.

“Further to this, we are appealing for anyone who may come across documents and keys that have potentially been stolen to contact us.”

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact North Wales Police via the force’s website or by calling 101, quoting reference 23001047919.
