The daughter of the man who died following a road traffic collision in Pensarn, Abergele on Saturday night has paid tribute to him.

Ieuan Richard Williams was 63-years-old and lived in the Pensarn area.

His daughter Elize has paid the following tribute to him: “Dad – I hold so many fond memories, memories that make me smile and some that make me frown, but you will always live on for as long as I live.

“Hopefully there is a kebab shop up there for you and a decent pint.

“There are a lot of your traits instilled in me but the ‘stone faced’ look comes in handy from time to time so cheers for that.

“I love you so much and I will never forget you (or your ‘baldy head and funny teeth’ – well, lack of them as we used to say).

“Rest in peace Dad – you’ll forever be in my thoughts.”

The investigation to establish what happened is ongoing and officers continue to urge anybody who may have information regarding the collision, which involved a black BMW, to contact them immediately via the website or by calling 101 quoting reference number 21000808527.
