Police were called to deal with a large herd of cows on the loose on a road in North Wales earlier today.

Officers attended the scene on the A547 near a solar panel farm between Rhuddlan and Abergele at around 9.45am this morning.

They said: “Please drive carefully as officers are attempting to moooove them back to their fields.

“If anybody can identify where the cows have come from or knows which farm, assistance would be appreciated.”

It was later confirmed they had been safely moved back to their field at about 11.40am.

It’s not the first time police have had to deal with cows on the run this week, with officers also called to the A55 on Anglesey.
