Firefighters spent more than three-and-a-half hours tackling a fire in the open on Anglesey last night.

Two crews were called to Amlwch Port last night with pictures on social media showing billowing smoke which could be seen for miles around the island.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the cause was possibly thought to be deliberate.

It follows reports of people being seen running away from the scene of the blaze.
