Firefighters called after man gets trapped in toilet of train in Prestatyn

Firefighters were called to help free a man who became trapped in the toilet cubicle of a train in Prestatyn.

One fire crew attended the incident at Prestatyn Railway Station shortly after midday with British Transport Police also present at the scene.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the man was released using “small tools” and the situation was resolved by 12.22pm.

Police said they believe the problem was caused by a door malfunctioning.
