Police have issued a warning over youths gathering at a “dangerous” derelict property in Prestatyn.

Officers were called to the address on several occasions yesterday afternoon due to reports of youths causing a disturbance.

Six children were removed from the property and their parents were called to collect them so that officers could speak to them.

In a post on Facebook, officers from the Denbighshire Coastal and Abergele local policing team said: “The property in question is derelict and this appears to have become common knowledge amongst local youths.

“The property has now been boarded up. Please do not attend the location as it is dangerous due to its dilapidated state.”
