Plans for a 60-home housing estate in Denbigh have been submitted for planning permission.
Developers Macbryde Homes want to build the houses on fields between the old and new Ruthin roads in the town, near the Brookhouse Mill.
Six of the homes will be affordable with the remaining 54 to be sold at market rates.
Housing in the development will be made up of two, three and four bedroom homes.
The 2.10 hectare site is located between the Old Ruthin Road and the A525.
The applicant has carried out a pre-application consultation, with members of the public raising a number of concerns about the plans.
These include concerns regarding the access onto Old Ruthin Road and visibility as well as whether the site should be providing car parking for the the nearby chapel.
People responding to the consultation also requested that the applicant consider building a kerb along an existing residents property on the Old Ruthin Road to mitigate potential dangers from increased traffic.
In its application, Macbryde Homes said: “It is considered that many of the issues raised within the specified timescales have previously been considered by the applicant as part of the design evolution of the scheme.
“All comments received within the specified timescales have been considered by the applicant.”
