Scouting for Girls Headlining Pine Festival in Llandudno This Summer

Pop rockers Scouting for Girls are set to entertain crowds in Llandudno this summer.
Around 5,000 people are set to descend on Bodafon Farm in Craig y Don when the two-day Pine Festival will take place at the end of August.
Also now announced are Yorkshire rockers The Sherlocks, indie pop band Lottery Winners, The K’s, and DJ Katy Owen.
Early nineties Liverpool band The Farm, most famous for their anthemic hit ‘All Together Now’, are also set to take the stage.
Other acts include Harvey Jay Dodgson, Ten Tonnes, Arxx, Muddy Elephant, Cameron Hayes, Rolla, Megan Wynn, Lissy Taylor, and many more – as well as new acts still to be announced.
The festival will feature two stages and also showcase local talent, entertainment acts, and even a silent disco.
Conwy County Council’s licensing department granted the organisers permission to go ahead with the event last month and tickets are now on sale.
The event, which is strictly 18s and over due to the sale of alcohol, takes place between 12pm on Friday, August 30 and will continue for campers into Sunday, September 1.

As well as being the event organiser, Harry, 27, from Flint, plays drums with Muddy Elephant, who are set to support Busted this summer.
Muddy Elephant will also be playing the main stage, with the band featuring singer Sam Passey, 28, from Abergele, as well as Carlos Jones, 28, and Matty Webster, 28, from Chester.
“We’ve tried to keep the line-up varied to reach a wide demographic,” said Harry.
“There is an older generation in Llandudno, too, so that’s why we’ve got the likes of The Farm, and we’ve got the Lottery Winners who have been supporting Rick Astley, and a lot of people have been saying how great they were.
“We’ve got some bands on the line-up who are poppy as opposed to indie, but nothing too heavy. We’ve gone for more commercial acts.”
The festival will also offer a variety of activities, including a comedy tent and a fairground.
