Community groups on Anglesey are being offered the chance to take on a former corn mill.

Melin Y Graig is a Grade II listed former corn mill sited in a prominent position overlooking Llangefni.

Isle of Anglesey County Council is looking for organisation to express an interest in developing it into a community facility.

The council said:  “If your group or organisation has imaginative proposals and is interested in taking over or developing this facility, you will need to show that your proposals can secure its longer-term future and will benefit the local community.

“The process will be subject to the council’s community asset transfer policy.”

Expressions of interest are invited before 5pm on Tuesday 30 November 2021.
