Cars could be seized in crackdown on anti-social driving in Holyhead

Police have issued that cars could be seized as part of a crackdown on anti-social driving in Holyhead.

It follows numerous reports of problems near to the Tesco store on the Penrhos Industrial Estate.

Officers said they will be patrolling the area and using enforcement powers if necessary.

The North Wales Police Anglesey team said on Facebook: “We have received numerous reports near Tesco Holyhead of anti social driving.

“Due to the local concern and safety implications, officers will redirect patrols to Tesco, Penrhos Industrial Estate and will work with land owners to curtail access.

“Please keep it to the tracks ladies and gents.

“Section 59 warnings or vehicle recovery powers will be used if needed.”
