A petition has been set up calling for a car park dubbed “the worst in Conwy” to be resurfaced.

Councillor Aaron Wynne wants Conwy Council to resurface Watling Street car park in Llanrwst.

It follows safety concerns being raised due to the number of potholes at the pay and display car park.

The Plaid Cymru councillor, who is standing in Aberconwy at next year’s Senedd elections, said: “I’m calling on Conwy Council to resurface Watling Street car park in Llanrwst.

“I would argue that this car park is the worst and most dangerous in Conwy – and yet you still have to pay to park here.

“Watling Street car park has been full of potholes and left in this sorry state for years. It’s about time Conwy did something about it.”

The petition, which can be accessed here, has already received 100 signatures with Cllr Wynne asking people to support him in lobbying the council.
