Planning round-up across North Wales

Every week in North Wales planning applications are submitted and then registered by local authorities.

Here are some applications that have come into local authorities this month, which will then be determined by each council’s planning committee or delegated for a decision by planning officers.

This list is not extensive.

Conwy

An application has been submitted to build a parking area at Bryn Alyn, 22 Abbey Road, Llandudno, following the partial collapse of an existing wall. The parking area will include a small dwarf wall separating the remaining garden.
A planning application has been submitted to convert 163 Conway Road in Llandudno Junction into a hot food takeaway, which includes a new flue to the
rear.

Denbighshire

A planning application has been submitted to convert existing rural buildings at Goblin Farm, Ffordd Ystrad, Denbigh, to form a holiday accommodation unit. The plans include the installation of a package treatment plant and associated works.
Land at Station Camp Site, on the B5437 Carrog Road to Llangollen Railway Line, Carrog, could be used for 15 touring caravan/tent pitches. The developer also wants to build a toilet/shower block and associated works

Gwynedd

Ewe Plastics, at Lôn Hen Felin, Cibyn Industrial Estate, Caernarfon, has submitted a planning application for the construction of a new industrial unit.
A developer hopes to build mobile stables and vehicular access on an existing parcel of agricultural land at Garnedd, Deiniolen, LL55 3HH.
A planning application has been submitted to ‘sub-divide’ part of an existing factory to create a new training facility and office space at Hen Safle Northwood, Penygroes, LL54 6DB.

Anglesey 

Developers hope to convert, alter, and extend an existing outbuilding at Plas Carmel, Carmel, Llanerchymedd. If permission is granted, the building will be converted into three holiday units while the existing dwelling will also be converted into a further two holiday units, which includes the installation of a new sewage treatment plant.
