Grenade found in Amlwch

A suspect device has been removed from Amlwch.

Police said early this evening: “The grenade found at an address in Bethesda Street Amlwch has been safely removed from the property. Thank you for your cooperation.”

Earlier Bethesda Street and a nearby area was cordoned off by police.

Emergency services say the suspect device was discovered during building work.
