An Anglesey man has today been sentenced to ten months in prison for dealing cannabis.

Daniel Lloyd Taylor, 25, of Moelfre, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cannabis, possession with intent to supply and money laundering at Caernarfon Crown Court.

Investigating officer Dylan Thomas said: “Today’s sentence should serve as a deterrent to those thinking about drugs supply being the way forward.

“Thanks to partnership working and assistance from the local community, 1.5kg of cannabis was recovered as well as a substantial amount of money.

“We will continue to proactively work with members of the public to gather intelligence and act on it.

“I would urge anyone with concerns or information about drug supply to report them to North Wales Police by using our live chat facility or dialling 101, or alternatively (and anonymously) contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
