Anglesey man jailed after stealing alcohol from Tesco then being abusive towards police

A man from Anglesey has been jailed after stealing alcohol from a Tesco store before acting abusively towards police.

The 33-year-old stole from the Benllech branch of the supermarket chain on Thursday.

Officers attended the scene after being alerted by staff and found the man located nearby.

He then became aggressive and abusive towards the police.

The Anglesey policing team has now revealed the man has been sentenced to 18 weeks in prison.
