16 year old arrested after “threatening phone calls made to schools”

Police have confirmed a 16 year old boy has been arrested today following threatening phone calls made to schools.

In a short statement North Wales Police have said, “We were made aware of several threatening phone calls made to schools in the Denbighshire area in the last 24 hours.

“An investigation was launched to trace the caller and local officers increased their patrol activity around affected schools to provide reassurance.”

“A 16 year old male has subsequently been arrested and remains in police custody.”
