Police appeal for witnesses after cyclist killed following a collision near Menai Bridge

North Wales Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a cyclist was killed in a collision with a car in Anglesey.

In a statement issued this afternoon, Saturday April 11, a force spokesperson said:

“We are appealing for any witnesses or those with dashcam that were in the area of Pentraeth Road, Menai Bridge between 8:45pm and 9.10pm last night (Friday 10 April).

Sadly, despite the efforts of all concerned, the cyclist, a 36 year old local man died at the scene.

Police Family Liaison Officers are offering his relatives assistance at this tragic time.
