Warning notices have been handed to drivers who were caught driving anti-s0cially on a beach in Gwynedd.

North Wales Police said it gave out ten Section 59 notices to drivers over the weekend for speeding and doing doughnuts and handbrake turns on Morfa Bychan beach (Black Rock Sands), near Porthmadog.

Officers said the incidents coincided with the sunny weather experienced in the area over the weekend.

Members of the Gwynedd South Policing Team said: “A Section 59 is a warning notice for anti-social/careless/inconsiderate driving.

“If these drivers receive another warning notice within the next six months their cars will be seized.”
