Two arrested as police seek witnesses of ‘suspicious behaviour’ after Llandudno house fire

Two people have been arrested as police seek witnesses of suspicious behaviour following a house fire in Llandudno.

Officers will also maintain an increased presence in the area following the blaze at a property on Ffordd Dewi, which was reported just after 10pm last night (24th March).

Emergency services attended the scene enquiries into the cause of the fire are ongoing as part of a joint investigation by North Wales Police and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service.

In a post on Facebook, members of the West Conwy Coastal Local Police Team said: “In order to reassure the residents in the area, there will be an increased police presence, but we would like to reassure the public that there is no perceived wider threat to the public.

“Two people have been arrested and our investigation is ongoing.

“If you witnessed any suspicious activity on Ffordd Dewi between 9pm – 11pm last night or have any other information that could help us with our enquiries, please come forward using our LiveChat facility or 101, quoting reference B041008.
