Teenager arrested in connection with spate of burglaries in Ruthin

A teenager has been arrested in connection with a spate of burglaries in Ruthin.

Police recently appealed for information over the incidents which took place in December which led to a number of people coming forward.

Officers have now arrested and interviewed a 16-year-old local suspect in connection with eight burglary related offences.

The North Wales Police Conwy and Denbigh Rural team posted on Facebook: “The suspect has been released under investigation while our enquiries are concluded, and we would like to thank the community for contacting us, and the information that was supplied.

“We will issue a further update when we are in a position to do so.”
