Six arrested as police uncover large cannabis growing operation in Rhyl

Six people have been arrested after police uncovered a large scale cannabis growing facility in Rhyl.

Officers executed a search warrant at a premises in the Market Street area of the town this morning, which led to the discovery.

Six men have been arrested on suspicion of various drugs related offences, and there will be an increased police presence in the area whilst investigations is ongoing.

North Wales Police said: “This is the latest in a series of commercial drugs productions to have been disrupted in the area in recent months, and we would appeal to members of the community that if you are aware of any other such facilities, that you contact us via our live webchat online, or anonymously via CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111.”
