One lane of A55 closed between Llandygai and Abergwyngregyn following an overturned lorry

Update 6am: One lane remains closed.

“One lane closed due to earlier accident on A55 North Wales Expressway Eastbound from A55 J12 / Tal Y Bont Interchange JTal Y Bont Interchange (Tal-Y-Bont) (Tal-Y-Bont) to J13 Station Road (Abergwyngregyn).

“Lane two (of two) is closed after a lorry overturned in the early hours of Thursday morning.”

Earlier report: A section of the A55 is closed eastbound between junctions 12 and 13 due to an overturned lorry.

North Wales Police posted an update on social media at around 1.30am, it said:

“Officers are currently attending to an ongoing incident on the A55.”

“Full road closure between junction 12 to 13 heading East bound.”

A local traffic report states: “A55 North Wales Expressway Eastbound closed due to overturned lorry from A55 J12 / Tal Y Bont Interchange JTal Y Bont Interchange (Tal-Y-Bont) Tal-Y-Bont to J13 Station Road (Abergwyngregyn).”
