Police in North Wales gave a brave six-year-old a special birthday surprise this weekend.

Samuel from Rhyl is currently on 24/7 isolation as a result of requiring oxygen 24/7.

Yesterday was his birthday and officers decided to give him a treat by popping over to visit his house in Rhyl in their patrol car.

Along with other residents on Frederick Street, he takes party in the weekly Clap for Heroes every Thursday and has been involved in raising more than £300 for the NHS.

Posting on Facebook, police said: “Thank you all and a MASSIVE Happy Birthday to Samuel.”
