Police renew appeal after motorcyclist seriously hurt in Rhyl crash

A motorcyclist remains in hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Rhyl on Friday night (June 3).

The collision happened at around 9.30pm at the junction of Pen y Maes Avenue and Dyserth Road and involved a black coloured Fiat 500 and a white and gold coloured Kawasaki motorcycle.

The male motorcyclist was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd by ambulance, but has since been transferred to hospital in Stoke with serious injuries.

PC Haydn Roberts-Powell from North Wales Police’s Roads Policing Unit is appealing for information.

He said: “I’m urging anybody who may have been in the vicinity of Dyserth Road and Pen y Maes Avenue in Rhyl shortly before 9:30pm on Friday and who may have CCTV or dashcam footage to get in touch with us as soon as possible.

“Any witnesses are asked to contact us via the website or by calling 101, quoting reference number 23000475.”
