Police make four drugs arrests following stop and search checks in Denbighshire and Conwy areas

Police have made four drugs arrests following a series of stop and search checks carried out in Denbighshire and Conwy over the weekend.

Officers arrested a 43-year- old man for allegedly being involved in the supply of controlled drugs after coming across him on Edward Henry Street in Rhyl.

A 31-year-old man from Manchester was also arrested for drugs and weapon possession following a traffic stop on Gors Road, Towyn.

Meanwhile, two other men, aged 41 and 40, were arrested for possession with intent to supply class A drugs on Foryd Road in Kinmel Bay.

Police said enquiries into the alleged offences were ongoing.
