Police launch appeal after nurse left badly injured in Denbigh assault

Police are appealing for witnesses after a nurse was left badly injured in an attack outside a bank in Denbigh.

Officers said she was assaulted by another woman outside Halifax at the top of Bridge Street in the town centre last Friday night at 10.30pm.

A police spokesperson said: “A number of cars are seen passing on CCTV, the drivers may be able to provide key evidence in relation to the incident which left the local nurse badly injured.

“Call us if you saw anything ref 20000422248.”
