A police drone has been used to help in the rescue of four walkers stuck on Snowdon.

The aerial vehicle was deployed last night to locate the group who had become stuck on a rock-face.

Officers also used a spotlight to light up the cliff whilst members of the Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team abseiled down to help the stuck walkers.

Footage of the incident was published by the North Wales Police Drone Unit earlier this morning and can be viewed below.
