Police have made a plea to parents as large groups of youths keep gathering on farmland in Denbighshire.

Officers have been called out to the same area of Rhuddlan on several occasions following reports of 50-100 youngsters congregating together in breach of the coronavirus lockdown rules.

The youths are said to have set fires, left litter and been verbally abusive.

Police said: “We are pleading to parents to assist us by educating their children about the risks this is posing to the wider community.

“Please check where your child is and if it is essential they are out.”
