Police are appealing for a Halloween-themed topper which was removed from a post box in Rhyl to be returned.

The knitted creation, which was made by members of the Rhyl Toppers group, has been taken from a post box on the corner of St Margaret’s Drive and Vale Road in the town.

Officers said: “If you know who has it or where it may be please put it back.

“The ladies that make these do them for the community and they have been a great addition to the area over the last year or so.

“We will be conducting some CCTV enquiries in the area to see if we can locate the person responsible.”
