Police appeal after Prestatyn shop targeted by masked men demanding cash

Police are appealing for information after two masked men went into a shop in Prestatyn and demanded cash.

The pair went entered the convenience store on Victoria Road in the town just after 9pm on Tuesday (September 26th).

They demanded money from shop workers before making off from the scene onto Victoria Park Avenue.

North Wales Police have confirmed they are investigating and detectives are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.

A force spokesperson said: “We are following several lines of enquiry, including CCTV, and as part of these, we are appealing to members of the public who may have seen something ‘not quite right’ to get in touch.

“Whether you have CCTV or dashcam of the area and have not yet spoken to police or if you have any information that could assist, please get in touch with us and we’ll do the rest.
