Motorcyclist suffers life-threatening injuries after crash in Rhyl

A man has suffered serious, life-threatening injuries following a crash in Rhyl last night.

Shortly before 8pm, police were notified of a two-vehicle collision on Dyserth Road which involved an off-road motorcycle and a VW Golf.

The off-road motorcyclist was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd by ambulance with significant injuries.

The female driver of the Golf sustained what are believed to be minor injuries.

Sergeant Liam Ho of the Roads Policing Unit is appealing for witnesses and information.

He said: “We are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward, and we are also urging anybody who may have witnessed an orange-coloured KTM off-road motorbike being ridden in the area prior to the collision to contact us.”
