A motorcyclist will have to appear in court after speeding at just over double the limit on the A499 in Gwynedd.

The man was caught in a 60mph zone by officers on patrol in Trefor yesterday evening.

Members of the roads policing unit said he would now have to explain his actions in court.

They added: “High speeds on our roads will not be tolerated and you will be prosecuted.”
