Officers from Gwynedd South supported by the North Wales and Cheshire Alliance, with a specialist search dog, executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at residential property in Abersoch yesterday.

A 33-year-old man, originally from the Manchester area, was arrested after Class A and B drugs and a quantity of cash were recovered. Enquiries are continuing.

Insp Matt Geddes said: “I want to thank the local community for not tolerating this organised crime.

“It was information from the community that allowed us to take this positive action against those criminals who cause harm and misery in the area.”
